“They sexually assaulted me in my bedroom, and took photos of the whole experience”
Rhiannon was just 13 when she sent a topless selfie to a stranger online. Within 24 hours, she was sexually assaulted by the same person, before being threatened against reporting what had happened to her.
In the aftermath of the horrific abuse she was subject to, Rhiannon went on to suffer depression, self-harm and would later attempt to take her own life.
While she remains affected by what happened to her, she is now trying to use her own experiences as a positive to try and ensure the same thing doesn't happen to anyone else. This is how to stop online child abuse.
