Among the myriad issues brought about by the nation living in lockdown, an increase in reports of domestic violence is one of the most worrying. Many people who before lockdown would have been able to leave their home and spend time with friends and family in a bid to get away from their abuser, are now left with no choice but to remain inside with them.
