Trump tested positive on Wednesday morning

It has been revealed that President Trump attending a Republican fundraiser in full knowledge he had Covid-19.

Trump returned a positive test for the coronavirus on Wednesday morning, although it wasn’t made public until Friday. He attended rallies in Minnesota on Wednesday and then New Jersey on Thursday night, well over 24 hours since receiving his test results.

US journalist Ali Velshi said:

“Doctors say they are 72 hours into Trump’s diagnosis. That would be Weds 11am. Trump announced he had Covid Fri 1am. On Fri evening he said he was being tested. Did he attend a rally in MN on Wed & then a fundraiser in NJ on Thur AFTER his doctor thought he had coronavirus?”

It has already been reported Republican Party donors are furious.

According to CNBC, numerous Republican backers have made contact with the Trump campaign and GOP officials for guidance after they came into contact with President Trump in the hours before his diagnosis was made public.

As many as 30 to 50 people were in close contact to Trump, reports claim.

The claims have been widely dismissed by the Republican National Committee (RNC). They say everyone that attended the New Jersey fundraiser received a test for Covid-19, passed a temperature test and were at least six feet or more away from Trump at all times.

Trump received his diagnosis in the hours following his televised debate with Democratic Party nominee Joe Biden. His team did not make the Biden camp aware of the positive Covid-19 test until it became public knowledge on Friday.

Chris Christie, the former New Jersey governor who helped Trump prepare for this week’s debates, today announced he has tested positive for Covid-19.

Christie said: “I just received word that I am positive for COVID-19. I want to thank all of my friends and colleagues who have reached out to ask how I was feeling in the last day or two. I will be receiving medical attention today and will keep the necessary folks apprised of my condition.”
