Zé Roberto probably hasn’t been on the radar of too many football fans for a few years.
The former Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen man has plenty of honours to his name, including multiple Bundesliga and Copa America titles.
But he has been playing outside Europe for the last five years, and you’d be forgiven for thinking he had retired.
However, not only is he still going, but he has earned himself yet another league title at the ripe old age of 42.
The veteran is now back in Brazil with Palmeiras, playing alongside Manchester City-bound Gabriel Jesus.
And, while Zé Roberto might be old enough to be the Olympian’s father, he’s arguably in as good shape as he was at Gabriel Jesus’ age.

We’re not sure what it is about that generation of Brazil internationals, but Cafu – another member of those victorious Copa America squads – has also been looking after himself.
Palmeiras got the point they needed to guarantee their first league title in more than two decades – in fact they went one better, beating Chapecoense 1-0 to complete the job.
And this one could well be even sweeter than those Bundesliga victories back in the day.
As for Gabriel Jesus, a domestic title has helped cap a great year at both club and international level, setting things up perfectly for his Premier League move at the turn of the year.
