This looks to be a tasty fight...

Steel City fighter Kell Brook will defend his world title against Frankie Gavin.

The IBF world champion impressed in his first title defence against Jo Jo Dan following a horrific machete attack.

But now the Sheffield champ will face another stern test against British welterweight Gavin on May 30th at London’s O2 Arena.

“I never expected to be out again so quickly but I can’t wait, Kell Brook told Matchroom Boxing. “I feel like I’m unbeatable right now and Gavin isn’t going to be able to cope with my speed and power on fight night..”

Frankie Gavin said: “I’ve dreamt of a world title and I will be 100 per cent ready physically and mentally for Kell Brook.  Of course it’s going to be tough but I believe Kell is beatable and I’ve always felt that I have got the skills and the team to cause an upset.”

Heavyweight fighter Anthony Joshua will face a hard fight with former world title challenger Kevin ‘Kingpin’ Johnson on the same card.

Gold medal winning Olympian ruthlessly dispatched American Jason Gavern in a one-sided warm up fight in Newcastle.

Popular Londoner Kevin Mitchell will also contest the WBC Lightweight belt against champion Jorge Linares while Welsh boxer Lee Selby challenges Evgeny Gradovich for his IBF featherweight title.

It will be a big night of boxing for Britain.
