VIDEO: Watford’s Nathan Ake somehow avoids serious injury after dangerously high fall

Nathan Ake is a lucky lad.

The Chelsea loanee, playing for Watford in their game against Bournemouth, escaped a nasty injury when he hurdled a Vicarage Road advertising board. Having tried to keep the ball in play, Ake clears the the advertising board, presumably not realising there was a good five foot drop on the other side of it. The sharp intake of breath from the crowd says it all.
