The Chelsea loanee, playing for Watford in their game against Bournemouth, escaped a nasty injury when he hurdled a Vicarage Road advertising board.
Having tried to keep the ball in play, Ake clears the the advertising board, presumably not realising there was a good five foot drop on the other side of it.
The sharp intake of breath from the crowd says it all.
Luckily, it appears that Ake came through the fall unscathed, and quickly gets himself back on the pitch to continue.
