Don't lie - you'd sell your organs or some cherished family members to watch this fight. But now it seems like the Irishman actually has his heart set on a megafight with the unbeaten (and now retired) boxing champion. Comments he made in the run-up to his UFC 196 welterweight bout with Nate Diaz firmly put him open for business for fighting the 49-0 American. The prospect of a McGregor vs Mayweather fight first reared its head in the wake of the so-called 'Fight of the Century' between 'Money' and Manny Pacquiao. The Dubliner said he would beat Mayweather in seconds in a street fight - because 'when you don’t know how to grapple you don’t stand a chance.' 'I would knock him out cold,' he crowed. But McGregor now says he would be open to discussions to fight Mayweather in a boxing ring rather than the octagon.
