Tyson Fury has a strong message for big-punching prospect Anthony Joshua

Even the thought of this all British heavyweight clash has got us salivating. It's the fight everybody wants to see - and Fury has promised fans it will happen. New heavyweight champion Fury has told unbeaten Joshua that he would lay him out. Fury, who is set for a May rematch with Wladimir Klitschko, is willing to fight the big-punching Watford fighter whenever he is ready. "That's a fight that I want. It's a fight that Joshua wants. It's a fight Eddie Hearn wants," Fury told Sky Sports. "It's just a matter of building him up, getting everybody to love him, building a big record and then I'll take it from him and break him in. "That's how it goes, unfortunately. Feed him to the lion." Joshua's promoter Hearn is already eyeing a world title shot for the former Olympian in 2016 - so it could happen sooner than everyone thinks. With Joshua's next opponent due to be announced in early February and people are already speculating who could be in line to fight him on April 9. With David Haye making an emphatic comeback against Mark De Mori, fans would love to see him given a shot at Joshua. While it would be a spectacular fight for British boxing fans, Fury believes it would be a stupid move to risk his unbeaten record against a big puncher like Haye. "I think it can happen if Eddie Hearn wants it to," said Fury. "I think either can win if they land first. "I think Joshua is a bit of a novice and struggled with Dillian Whyte. If Haye catches him early, it's goodnight. It's curtains. "But why should Joshua give Haye a chance? Haye has had one fight in three years and now wants a fight with a prospect."
