More worryingly around a fifth think legendary Jonny Wilkinson is still the captain of the England side...and worse still, 9% reckon that a Bobby Moore scored the winning try in 2003 - don't get those guys on your pub quiz team.
We're not sure if the cast of The Only Way is Essex were part of the study, but 10% of people believe the trophy was named after Sherlock Holmes author Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and one in 10 people apparently believe rugby is called 'egg chasing' because the game was inspired by farmers trying to catch chickens.
