On the field, Sunderland’s pre-season hasn’t been ideal.

The Black Cats lost 5-0 to Celtic at the Stadium of Light on Saturday, less than a week before they start their Championship campaign against Derby County on August 4th.

To compound matters for new manager Simon Grayson, midfielder Darron Gibson has been filmed accusing several teammates of not trying hard enough for the club.

He also stated that three players no longer want to play for the club after their relegation from the Premier League. The video, which has been circulated on Twitter, shows Gibson in a conversation with Sunderland supporters after the match against the Scottish champions.

In the video, one fan is heavily critical of the former Manchester United player after the defeat to Celtic.

The Republic of Ireland international can be heard saying:

“We’re shit. Of course I’m bothered, I don’t want to be shit. There are too many people at the club who don’t give a fuck. You tell me who doesn’t want to be at the club?”

When asked to identify the players who aren’t interested in playing for Sunderland, the 29-year-old midfielder claimed that Lamine Kone, Jeremain Lens and Whabi Kazri all want to leave the Stadium of Light.
