We wouldn't be surprised if the match ball still hasn't landed such was the trajectory over the bar when Cristiano Ronaldo missed the target during Wednesday's home tie against Real Sociedad. The Sky commentators had just been discussing Ronaldo's reliability from the penalty spot when the Madrid superstar blazed over. It was perfect timing but we don't think the Portuguese will quite enjoy the humour that we all saw in it.
