Was Ryan Giggs the first to fall asleep at a house party on Thursday night?
It’s the first international break of the season and that tends to mean that there’s not a great deal going on.
Thursday’s deadline day and Gareth Southgate’s England selection dominated the conversation in the ITV studios ahead of Friday evening’s World Cup Qualifier in Malta.

But viewers were far less concerned about the panel’s opinion on the quality of goalkeeper Joe Hart and far more interested in the appearance of Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs.
Giggs joined Ian Wright and former teammate Paul Ince in studio to preview the game and fans couldn’t help but notice one particular facial feature of the Welshman.

And because there’s absolutely nothing else to do, we’ve taken the liberty of looking back at the eyebrows of Giggsy’s past to investigate that very question.
Here he is in 1991 – definite eyebrows.
In 1996, he did a photoshoot for the sole purpose of proving that he did, in fact, own eyebrows.
Fun fact… Giggs spent the whole of the 1999/00 season shielding his eyebrows from the public.
2004 was a bit of a toss-up. It looked like he had eyebrows but, truly, it was impossible to say for definite.
At the races in 2009, we’re calling it. He had eyebrows.
But the next year, they seemed to go missing again.
2012 – eyebrows. What the hell is going on?
It makes absolutely no sense but Giggs’ eyebrow situation seems to depend on the day. Sometimes he’s got them, sometimes he doesn’t.
And given everything he’s accomplished in his career, who are we to criticise him for possessing a pair of changeable eyebrows.
