Manchester United supporter Frank Ilett has long gone viral for promising not to cut his hair until the club win five matches in a row.

The challenge started way back in October 2024, with United yet to achieve the feat.

When United eventually do win five games in a row, his plan is to have his haircut at Old Trafford.

Then, he will donate the money to The Little Princess Trust, who provide wigs for children and young people that have lost their hair as a result of cancer treatment or other conditions.

United last won five games in a row under Erik ten Hag way back in February 2024, with Amorim unveiled as the permanent successor nine months later.

In a post on Instagram, Ilett revealed that he had met Amorim in person at the Portugal Football Summit.

Posting a picture with him alongside the Portuguese gaffer, Ilett said:  "He saw me, pointed to my hair and said, 'Sorry about that!'"
