Cancel Super Sunday football, screen Keane vs Redknapp instead
Honestly, would anyone *really* have minded if Sky Sports had spontaneously decided to axe their live coverage of Premier League football on Sunday afternoon and let Jamie Redknapp and Roy Keane continue to bicker with each other for another few hours instead?
Frankly, we'd have been all for it.
Speaking ahead of Tottenham's meeting with Burnley, Redknapp - in attendance at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - was asked by Dave Jones if Spurs currently had an average squad. He disagreed. That much he made clear before Keane, also in the studio with Jones, interrupted him. And then continued to interrupt him, time and time and time again, his voice gradually becoming more and more high-pitched.
There's a lot to take it, but the basic gist of it is that Keane isn't all the impressed with the current Spurs team, and Redknapp thinks he's being a bit unfair.
It's all very funny, to be honest, more so because of the slight delay between Keane in the studio and Redknapp, who looks like he might actually cry by the end, on the touchline.
But yeah, get yourself a bowl of popcorn and go ahead and watch the video. Let's not pretend anyone's still actually reading this.
