He also claims to have only $3,300 in assets, no recent personal income and to add to the weirdness Tarverdyan claims he can't remember the last time he filed a tax return.
On August 28, Tarverdyan submitted a declaration stating, "For the taxable years 2013 and 2014 I wasn't required to file income taxes and did not file income taxes for those years. In fact, I have not filed for several years now and cannot recall when was the last year I filed an income tax return."
The bankruptcy trustee appointed to oversee the process has launched an investigation into Tarverdyan's finances as a result of the unusual circumstances of his case. He's particularly interested in Tarverdyan's association with Glendale Fighting Club.

Tarverdyan's scheduled to appear for a meeting with creditors on November 16 where he'll have to answer questions from the trustee and any creditors who decide to attend while under oath. Interestingly enough, this falls two days after arguably Ronda Rousey's most high-profile title defence against Holly Holm at UFC 193.
