Radamel Falcao appears to be a prime example of how injury can affect a player.

When he moved to Monaco from Atletico Madrid, he was rightly considered one of the finest strikers in the game. But since he suffered a cruciate ligament injury soon after his move to the principality, Falcao has looked a shadow of his former self. Loaned to Manchester United, Falcao managed just four goals last season, with Louis van Gaal choosing not to take up the option to make the move to Old Trafford a permanent one. Jose Mourinho's decision to sign him for Chelsea was therefore a surprise and the Colombian's woeful form in front of goal has continued. But this footage of him in training for Colombia shows a glimpse of the old Falcao.
