As many as four of the Premier League's biggest clubs have been on high alert regarding the transfer status of Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo.
The Ghanian has a £60 million release clause in his contract that must be triggered by January 10th, meaning the first stages of any deal may need to be finalised before the January transfer window opens later this week.
Semenyo has deservedly earned the attention of the Premier League's best through constant great form this season, scoring nine goals and assisting three times for Andoni Iraola's high-flying Cherries' side.

While Man City and Man United had been viewed as the favourites to sign Semenyo there have been some suggestions that Liverpool too may be keen to make a move for the attacker.
The Reds look set to be without record signing Alexander Isak for the foreseeable future, after the Swede sustained a fracture to his ankle.
However, it is Man City who are reportedly the only side to have opened formal talks with Bournemouth for the player.
As reported by renowned football journalist Ben Jacobs, on Monday morning Man City entered formal discussions over the player's signature.
Semenyo is said to be keen on sealing a deal by January 1st, meaning that this transfer saga is now expected to be concluded soon.
