Hull City have released a statement after it was confirmed that one of their star players, Sorba Thomas, has flipped his car near the training ground.
The Welsh international arrived at the Premier League club only this summer, making a £10million move from Championship outfit Stoke City.
Near to the training ground, news emerged that the 27-year-old winger's £60,000 Land Rover Defender turned upside down, with fans fearing the worst at the time. Thankfully, no harm was done to the player.
Hull City have since released a statement on the crash:
"Hull City is relieved to confirm that Sorba Thomas is unharmed following a road traffic accident near to the club’s Cottingham training ground.
"The club is aware of images of Sorba’s car circulating on social media and can reassure supporters that he has sustained no injuries and emerged from his vehicle completely unscathed."
The Tigers take on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday at 3pm, where they will look to continue their impressive start, which has earned them seven points out of a possible nine.
