Peter Beardsley has found himself the subject of an investigation after being accused of bullying and racism.
The Newcastle United development coach is in danger of losing his job after several African players within the club's academy accused him of racial abuse, according to a report in the Telegraph.
Aware of the allegations, Beardsley is set to meet with chief executive Lee Charnley, head of safeguarding Steve Swinyard and a representative from the Professional Footballers Association on Monday.
Magpies winger Yasin Ben El-Mhanni lodged a complaint against Beardsley at the weekend but further accusations have since been made against the former England international.
It's not the first time that Beardsley has been accused of bullying.
In 2003, Beardsley and then-academy directorKenny Wharton were cleared of bullying three youth players at the club's academy, with racial abuse mentioned in one case.
Beardsley, who made more than 300 appearances in total for Newcastle, will discover his fate later this week.
