Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has taken to Twitter to announce that he is joining a competitive Call of Duty team called Verdansk FC.

The replies to the tweet were filled with gifs of Jadon Sancho - perhaps Pogba was going all ITK? - but in truth it was always likely to be a commercial venture.
And so it was, as Pogba announced that he was joining Verdansk Sparks, the team which plays in the stadium in Warzone's battle royale map, as part of a partnership with Call of Duty.
