Patrice Evra has offered his services to injury ravaged Juventus, according to reports

Former Manchester United and Juventus left-back Patrice Evra has offered his services to Juve, who are struggling with an injury crisis

How many times do we have to teach you this lesson, old man?!

When he’s not dressing up as a panda, singing songs on Instagram, or licking raw chickens, singing songs on Instagram, or shouting Monday motivation at you, on Instagram, Patrice Evra enjoys a kickabout.

He is currently a free agent, having been released by West Ham United at the end of last season. But the former Manchester United defender is still up for one last challenge, despite his grand old age of 37.

In a bid to find himself one last gig, the Frenchman has reportedly offered his services to Juventus, the club he played for between 2014 and 2017.

Juve are currently struggling with a defensive injury crisis, with all three veteran centre-backs, Leonardo Bonucci, Giorgio Chiellini and Andrea Barzagli all injured.

I’m not sure where Evra would fit into a back three – he’s not exactly the tallest – but the Corriere di Torino newspaper, which is local to Juventus, have claimed that the maverick left-back has got in touch, in case they want to sign him on a short term deal.

Evra’s last competitive match came in May last year when West Ham played Leicester, but he still only played for one minute.

It is unlikely that Juventus will take Evra up on his offer to re-sign him, but it’s nice to know he still thinks he can do a job.
