Olympic swimmer Tamara Potocka collapses after finishing 200-metre event

The 21-year-old Slovakian swimmer was carried away on a stretcher after collapsing following the end of her race.

She was wearing an oxygen mask as medics took her away.

Potocka was competing in the third heat of the event during the morning session at La Defense Arena in Paris.

She had finished seventh in her heat.

The media manager for the venue confirmed the swimmer was conscious and under medical assessment.
