Norwich secured promotion to the Premier League after a three-year wait this afternoon with a 2-1 win over Blackburn Rovers at Carrow Road.
Daniel Farke's side had shown signs of fatigue in recent weeks, drawing their last four matches, but put any nerves to bed early on this evening as they tore through Blackburn in style and opened the scoring in the 12th minute with a long-range shot from Marco Stiepermann.
Mario Vrančić then made it 2-0 eight minutes later with another wonder strike.
Rovers struck back through Lewis Travis in the 23rd minute but it ended up a mere consolation goal as Norwich rode out the 2-1 victory.
