That was certainly the case for one Manchester United fan on his way to the Swansea game.
With it being a foreign away fixture in far flung Wales, the lad took his passport with him.
But when his fellow fans found out, they had a bit of fun with it.
Still, at least he found out whether United were playing home or away before setting off, unlike this Nottingham Forest fan.
