Manchester United are ready to swap striker to land big money German superstar

He would transform United...

Manchester United were hell bent on landing that superstar signing over summer.

But we all know what happened with that. Louis van Gaal and Ed Woodward missed out on a string of high profile transfer targets – including German star Marco Reus, reportedly not willing to splash out £10m more to meet the £60m asking price.

But the deal may not be completely dead in the water. United could be ready to reignite their bid to land Borussia Dortmund forward Reus in January.

The Manchester Evening News report that United’s young Belgian forward Adnan Januzaj could be used as part of a swap deal for the 26-year-old German, who has netted five goals in six so far this season.

The 20-year-old is already on a season-long loan at the Bundesliga club, but United may look to make it permanent if they can persuade Dortmund to part with Reus.
