When people mentioned the Premier League's multi-million-pound TV deal, we assumed it was about broadcasting matches.

Turns out part of the money might have gone towards clubs' impressively dramatic announcements, be they about new kits or, in Manchester City's case, new signings. Pep Guardiola's squad has been bolstered with the arrival of Leroy Sané from Schalke, and big things are expected of the German youngster.
