Man United’s U19 Champions League victory over PSV has a distinctly English feel (Video)

The English are coming...

Much has been said about the dearth of English talent at Premier League clubs.

Indeed even top-flight club academies have been accused of neglecting local talent, instead plumping for talented imports.

But Manchester United’s victory of PSV Eindhoven in the ‘mini’ Champions League on Tuesday afternoon was notable for the overwhelming Englishness of the playing squad.

United’s Under-19s cruised to an impressive 3-0 win away to the Dutch fledglings, with goals from Callum Gribbin and Marcus Rashford (2).
