Manchester United’s security intervened as a man started filming the club’s players as they waited for a train back to Manchester at the weekend
United beat Watford 2-1 at Vicarage Road in Saturday’s late Premier League game, and were waiting on a platform to board their train to Manchester later that evening when the man approached.
Footage recorded by the man has since emerged on social media, beginning with him congratulating Romelu Lukaku on United’s win. The video then shows Marouane Fellaini gesturing to the man to stop filming him, before a woman who appears to be working on behalf of either the club or Virgin Trans asks him to move away from the area of the platform in which the players are gathered.
The man then refuses to leave the area when a man who appears to be part of United’s security team asks him to move along, prompting police officers to try and escort him away from the platform.
Silly behaviour from camera guy. With such a tone, the guy with the camera had one objective and that was to spark a reaction from United players by pestering them 😡 pic.twitter.com/OJ7CzSxDtB

The man continues to insist he’s doing nothing wrong throughout the video, despite being told that the area of the platform has been reserved for the United team.
Goals from Romelu Lukaku and Chris Smalling sent United to victory against Watford, who had won all four of their opening Premier League matches prior to the game. Having lost consecutive games to Brighton and Tottenham, United’s win followed a 2-0 victory over Burnley at Turf Moor prior to the international break.
Jose Mourinho’s side now turn their attention to the Champions League. They face Switzerland’s Young Boys of Bern on Wednesday in their first group game of this season’s competition.
