With such a significant pay increase around the corner, it's logical that some might speculate Barca may try and offload him. However, it appears that might not be happening either.
The same report claims that if his employers do wish to sell him before his pay increase kicks in, they'd have to stump up almost €20m in compensation costs to the player.
