Premier League champions Manchester City were held to a 1-1 draw by newly promoted Wolverhampton Wanderers
But never mind about the actual football bit. Let's concentrate on the *really* important news to come out of Molineux on Saturday afternoon: Joleon Lescott's trousers.
Lescott, who played for both Wolves and City during his career, was on punditry duty for Sky Sports' coverage of the game. His choice of trousers were enough to make plenty watching believe - if only for a split second - that he'd opted against covering his legs for his television appearance.

Get the idea? Good.
As for the game itself, Wolves took the lead with nearly an hour played in controversial fashion. Willy Boly's attempted header came off his arm before beating Ederson.
City were denied a penalty almost immediately after the restart when David Silva being brought down after a collision with Ruben Neves. Despite their appeals being waved away, Pep Guardiola's side were able to get back on terms with 20 minutes remaining. A free-kick was powered home by the head of Aymeric Laporte - his first goal for the club since arriving from Athletic Bilbao last January.
Both sides had chances to win the game in the time that remained, Sergio Aguero going closest with a free-kick which rattled the crossbar.
