Kyle Walker could leave Manchester City this summer.
Walker was reportedly left 'disappointed' after being named as a substitute for the Champions League final and came on in the 82nd minute to replace John Stones.
The form of Manuel Akanji has meant a change of formation and Walker, 33, has fell victim to that and lost his place in the starting XI and as reported by The Athletic, the full-back may look to move onto pastures new.
A move abroad may be the most likely, with reports earlier in the year linking the England international with AC Milan, however it is unclear how concrete their interest was.
Boyhood club Sheffield United, where Walker began his career, could also be an option for a fairytale return.
After Man City completed their historic treble, Walker reflected on his journey to get to Istanbul.
"We couldn't work as hard as we did all season to throw it away," he said.
"The lads dug deep. I got a silver medal last time, so to have a gold one is fantastic.
"I am living the dream. My mum and dad were in the stands. Where I come from in Sheffield it's not easy for them to be here. I remember when mum didn't have a pound for the ice cream van. I am so thankful.
"I am over the moon and very rarely speechless but my dream has just come true. To achieve this with this club, after everything they have done for all of us over the years, to win the Treble is unbelievable."
