Jamie Carragher has pointed out a clever tactic that Arsenal use to waste time when they are under pressure, which has since gone viral.
Playing against Champions Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday, it is never easy - never mind with ten players for 45 minutes.
Holding a priceless lead, the Gunners managed to defend like heroes for almost the full-half, before a 98th minute John Stones strike finally broke their resistance.
And Carragher has noticed one clever tactic that Mikel Arteta's men utilise in order to maximise performance:
Speaking on The Overlap, Carragher stated:
"There's one thing I do notice that Arsenal do more than anyone and I don't know if the stats back me up. I think your goalkeeper goes down a lot more than other goalkeepers, in tense situations - because the rules is the goalkeeper can't go off.
"So that's definitely one that the coaching staff at Arsenal are switched on probably more than anybody else. I see Raya go down in high pressure situations."
Arsenal boast one of, if not the best defence in the league and showed their resolve on Sunday.
