Ilkay Gundogan has re-signed at Manchester City just one year after leaving the club for Barcelona.
The talented midfielder left Manchester for Spanish giants Barcelona last season on a free transfer.
Signing for The Citizens in 2016 for £20m from Borussia Dortmund, the German went on to win five Premier Leagues, one Champions League and two FA Cups in England.
The news was reported by Fabrizio Romano who confirmed that the 33-year-old would be signing on a one year deal until 2025.
Pep Guardiola was keen on the deal notably following on from a bad injury to young talent Oscar Bob, leading the City manager to look for reinforcements.
Gundogan is expected to join his former club on a free transfer.
