Manchester United secured a convincing win against Everton on Sunday and created history by doing so.
Erik ten Hag watched on from the stands due to his touchline ban as the Red Devils ran out as 3-0 winners at Goodison Park.
Alejandro Garnacho opened the scoring with one of the best goals the Premier League has seen, let alone the season, with an outstanding overhead kick.
Marcus Rashford doubled the away side's lead after VAR ruled that Anthony Martial had been fouled inside the box with Bruno Fernandes allowing the forward to take the spot kick and give him a much-needed confidence boost.
Martial then made sure of the win with a delicate chip over Jordan Pickford.
Defensively, United looked comfortable for large parts of the game with Andre Onana rarely called into action however he did pull off an impressive stop to deny Idrissa Gueye's effort from distance.
Onana has improved in recent weeks and his fifth clean sheet of the campaign was enough to break a Premier League record as United became the first club to record 500 clean sheets.
The win leaves United in sixth place and six points off the top and four points off Aston Villa, who are occupying the final Champions League place.
