No kebabs for Mbappe

One kebab shop owner has felt the wrath of Kylian Mbappe and is being sued for using the Paris Saint-Germain forward’s name to describe one of his dishes.

The description itself seems to be more a dig at Mbappe rather than a compliment as ESPN report that Mohamed Henni – a kebab shop owner and social media star – described his Klüb kebab as “baker round bread, as round as Mbappe’s skull”.

Incensed with using his name, and seemingly not the description, Mbappe’s lawyer sent a message to Henni to demand that his client’s name be removed from the menu.

He’s been given eight days to do so or he will face going to court for using Mbappe’s name with his consent for commercial purposes.

Henni shocked by complaint

Understandably, Henni was shocked to see what was nothing more than a light-hearted joke on his part taken seriously by Mbappe and his team.

Posting to Instagram, he called out the PSG star, saying: “Are you not ashamed?

“You have nothing else to do? Suing me for something so futile? It is incredible. I can’t believe it!”

He added: “I didn’t think a player at this level had the time to think about me. He took time and money to attack me. I’m not hurting anyone, I do humour.”

Mbappe preparing for Champions League draw

Following their resounding success in the last 16, beating Real Sociedad 4-1 over two legs, PSG will be in the draw for the Champions League draw this Friday.

This season will almost certainly be Mbappe’s last chance to win Europe’s top prize with the French giants after he told the Ligue 1 side that he would be leaving at the end of the season.

Real Madrid is the expected destination for the 25-year-old in the summer which would bring an end to almost two years worth of speculation between the two parties.
