The incident was not seen by the match referee and thus went unpunished but after Dutch media picked up on it, Vitesse have decided to fine the 22-year-old.
"First of all, we regret the commotion that has arisen," Vitesse technical director Marc van Hintum said.
"We have fined Matt directly after the events because they do not fit the behaviour shown within the fair play concept of the club."
Miazga is expected to return to Chelsea at the end of the current season.
