Arriving from Fluminese for just £11m last summer, Richarlison scored five times during his first 12 Watford appearances. Although his goalscoring form has dipped in the time since (he's not scored since November), this hasn't deterred Mourinho.

Inevitably, a United move for Richarlison will raise more questions about Anthony Martial's future in Manchester. The French international is yet to agree a new deal at Old Trafford after reportedly asking for assurances about his playing time. Although a popular figure amongst the club's supporters, Martial has not been able to establish himself as a regular starter under Mourinho, who has frequently used him as a substitute.
