Coincidence?

Fans are convinced that Erling Haaland tuned into Arsenal’s dramatic 3-3 draw with Southampton after his “perfectly timed tweet.”

Arsenal came back from 3-1 down with two late goals to salvage a point and leave their title hopes hanging by a thread after collecting just three points from their last three games.

Supporters of other clubs have accused the Gunners of ‘bottling’ the title and their challenge doesn’t get any easier as they face a trip to the Etihad Stadium to face Manchester City on Wednesday in a game that will likely determine who finishes top of the pile come the end of May.

Among the many tests Arsenal face, Erling Haaland is one of them, with the Norwegian in extremely good form.

Haaland has 32 Premier League goals to his name and is almost certain to break the record of most goals scored in a league season (currently held by Alan Sharer and Andy Cole jointly with 34) and some think he prepared for the showdown by watching Arsenal’s draw.

Shortly after the full time whistle went at the Emirates, the 22-year-old posted a series of pictures of him training on Twitter with the caption: ‘Mood. Still,” leaving some to think it was in relation to the events in north London.

“Perfect timing king hahahaha,” wrote one fan.

Another tweeted: “He’s even violating.”

A third said: “The timing.”

“You definitely watched the arsenal game lol,” said another.

“Posting it after arsenal bottling another game,” tweeted another.

Man City are currently five points behind the Gunners but have two games in hand on their title rivals.
