Ex-Premier League star missing in Hungary as former club issues statement

A former Premier League player is currently missing in Hungary, with his former club issuing a concerned statement.
Akos Buzsaky, formerly of QPR in the top-flight, has been reported absent in the country, as per The Independent.
The 44-year-old played at Loftus Road during the 2011-12 season, having also featured for Plymouth Argyle and Portsmouth.
Reports in Hungary state that the former player has been missing for over a week, with the police looking for him.
The Championship club took to X to write a statement: "The club are concerned to learn that R’s favourite Akos Buzsaky has been reported missing.
"We’re all praying he’s found safe and well."
The popular figure made 125 appearances for the West Londoners, bagging 24 goals.
