MMA fighter Dada 5000 was in a critical condition after he suffered a knock-out against Kimbo Slice at Bellator 149.
The fighter, whose real name is Dhafir Harris, was sent sprawling to the canvas against the former bareknuckle street brawler Slice in one of the strangest knock-outs in MMA history.

While the fight itself drew much criticism from MMA fans, events took a sinister turn as Dada 5000 was stretchered out of the cage in an oxygen mask.
Respected MMA journalist Jeremy Botter confirmed the shocking news that the heavyweight's heart had actually stopped and he was in a critical condition overnight.

Doctors managed to save the stricken fighter and he is now in a stable condition.
It is now believed his serious medical condition may have been caused by an extreme 40lb weight cut he apparently made for the fight against Kimbo Slice.
High levels of potassium had accumulated in his blood which cause severe dehydration and renal failure.
His family released the following statement...
