Sarri will be announced as the new Chelsea boss in the coming hours

Maurizio Sarri is set to be announced as the new Chelsea manager in the coming hours, after Antonio Conte was finally relieved of his duties at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea legend Giafranco Zola will reportedly join the coaching staff as Sarri’s assistant manager. The Italian last managed Birmingham City in the 2016-17 season, narrowly avoiding relegation from the Championship.

Zola scored 59 league goals for Chelsea across seven seasons between 1996 and 2003.

As the Italian revolution begins at Chelsea, Jorginho is set to become their first signing of the summer. The playmaker will sign from Napoli for a fee reported to be £57m.
