It must have been a proud moment for the Matz family when one of their own made his debut for US baseball team the New York Mets.
But there was one family member who just couldn’t contain his excitement at seeing 24-year-old Steven Matz in action for the first time.

They caught up with gramps after the game and it was equally heartwarming to hear how the old fella had watched Steven striving to be a baseball star since he was a kid.
