It’s always sad when a promising young footballer suffers a serious injury.
But fans are fearing the worst over a horrific-looking knee injury to Aston Villa star Jordan Amavi while playing for France U21.
Amavi goes down during an innocuous looking challenge in the game against Northern Ireland U21.
The full-back has been one of Villa’s best players during a poor campaign and the injury will come as a big blow to new boss Remi Garde.
