The former partner of Manchester United winger Antony has revealed the details of alleged domestic violence and threats made by the winger to her in a television interview in Brazil.

DJ and influencer Gariela Cavallin filed a report with police earlier this month (June, 2023) in which she accused the 23-year-old of  “domestic violence, threat and bodily injury”.

The report claims that she was allegedly assaulted by Antony on May 20, the same day the winger played for United in a Premier League fixture against Bournemouth.

Since then, Cavallin has opened up on the details even further during an interview with Brazil’s Record TV, in which she said she had first suffered abuse in her home country last year.

“He held me by both arms, threw me on the bed and fell on top of me,” she said.

“At that, my silicone prosthesis dislocated.

“At the time, it gave me such a shortness of breath that it looked like I was going to die.”

Cavallin added that she needed 40 stitches in the inner part of her breast following the incident as well as claiming that Antony had threatened that the couple and their unborn son would ‘die’ if she ended their relationship.

Last year, in June 2022, she revealed on social media that she had suffered a miscarriage while expecting her first child and Cavallin claimed that the Man United winger wouldn’t let her leave the house.

She added: “He broke my suitcase, took my handbag, my passport. He broke my mobile phone, he wouldn’t let me go.

“I was a prisoner from 10pm to almost 3.30am. I call it private captivity. I just wanted to get out of there and he told me that I wouldn’t leave until I erased everything.

“I think his mother called his physiotherapist and asked for help. No one could control it.”

Cavallin also confirmed she would file claims against the winger, who has declined to comment, as per Uol Esporte.

“I’ll do whatever it takes,” she said.

“I’ll go to England to report the assault, failure to help, false imprisonment, psychological abuse, everything he did to me.”
