Antony accused of ‘domestic violence, threat and bodily injury’ by ex-girlfriend

Gabriela Cavallin has allegedly filed a police report

Brazilian media outlet Globo Esporte claim that Gabriela Cavallin, who was with the 23-year-old last year, filed a report to police in São Paulo.

The report claims that she was allegedly assaulted by Antony on May 20, the same day the winger played for United in a Premier League fixture against Bournemouth.

There are also claims that the police report includes “photos of abrasions and threatening messages”, and that Cavallin had previously discussed the Brazil international's aggressive behaviour.

Cavallin has called upon Brazilian authorities to take "“an urgent protective measure” as further evidence for the case is gathered.

Globo Esporte added that Antony was reportedly in a relationship with Cavallin in 2022. Last year, in June 2022, she revealed on social media that she had suffered a miscarriage while expecting her first child.

Neither of Antony, his representatives or Man United have responded to the allegations.
