Atletico Madrid legend Antoine Griezmann looks set to finally end his marathon spell with the Spanish giants, following reports from both Fabrizio Romano and The Athletic that the Frenchman could soon join a new club.
The 34-year-old first joined Atletico Madrid back in 2014 and has starred for them almost ever since, except for a stint with rivals Barcelona between 2019 and 2022.
Griezmann's status as one of the most important European footballers of the past decade cannot be doubted.
Since making his international debut, also in 2014, Griezmann has played more than 130 times for the French national team, and was named as Man of the Match during the final as his nation won the 2018 World Cup.
After achieving close to everything in European football, Griezmann is in talks to explore a new opportunity in a division far outside his home continent.

MLS side Orlando City are reportedly in advanced discussions to sign Griezmann, according to The Athletic.
Although no agreement is yet in place, the American club's sporting director and general manager Ricardo Moreira has travelled to Spain on multiple occasions in order to secure a deal.
The Frenchman is thought to be open to a deal, due to his widely known interest in American sport and culture.
He has visited the country multiple times and was reportedly close to joining Inter Miami in the past.
Orlando will now hope that discussions progress in time for the end of the MLS’s primary transfer window, which closes at the end of March.
