Theresa May was confronted by a disgruntled voter as she visited the Oxfordshire town of Abingdon on Monday.
Cathy, who explains that she has learning difficulties and is not receiving help from a carer, complained to the PM about Tory cuts to disability benefits.
"I'm talking about everybody, not just me," Cathy Explained. "For everybody that's got mental health issues and anybody that's got learning disabilities, I want them not to have their money taken away from them... The fat cats keep the money and us lot get nothing."
After May had attempted to explain that she had plans for people with mental health issues, Cathy told her that she wanted to see the Disability Living Allowance return after it was replaced by the Personal Independence Payment (PIP).
“Do you know what I want? I want my Disability Living Allowance to come back,” Cathy can be seen saying in the footage below. “Not have PIPs and get nothing.”
“I can’t liveon £100 a month. They just took it all away from me.”
The confrontation was captured by Channel 5 news and has since been posted on their social media pages.
