They become the latest fast-food chain to troll the outgoing PM
Burger King has moved to reassert its authority after the home of the ‘Whopper’ was temporarily relocated to SW1.
Following their famous Whopper On the Side Of a Bus stunt from 2019, the burger chain stationed a giant digital advert outside of the Houses of Parliament after Boris Johnson resigned in ignominy.
The artwork cheekily reads “Turns Out There Is Such A Thing As Too Many Whoppers” in the shape of a number 10.

It’s the latest in a barrage of abuse from the fast-food world, with KFC also sticking the boot in following Johnson’s resignation.
In September 2019 Johnson called Corbyn a “chlorinated chicken” and a “big girl’s blouse” for not agreeing to his request for a general election.
They made a chicken meme and tagged KFC in it, but the popular chicken shop didn’t respond as they might have hoped:
This is KFC not LBC don’t @ me. https://t.co/VOfnH5kb11

Now, following Johnson’s resignation, KFC has resurrected the meme to troll the Conservative Party.
The post has been liked over 100,000 times at the time of writing, with people loving the grumpy Johnson image.
Hey @Conservatives, fixed it for you. https://t.co/HSlS6eo989 pic.twitter.com/gz41fpLgHL
