KFC trolls Boris Johnson by resurrecting Jeremy Corbyn chicken meme

The fast-food chicken outlet wasn’t too happy about Tory efforts to rebrand the bird in 2019

KFC has trolled the Conservative Party after Boris Johnson stepped down as leader.

The fast-food chicken outlet resurrected a meme from 2019 which was sent out by the Tories in an effort to humiliate the then-Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn.

In September 2019 Johnson called Corbyn a “chlorinated chicken” and a “big girl’s blouse” for not agreeing to his request for a general election.

They made a chicken meme and tagged KFC in it, but the popular chicken shop didn’t respond as they might have hoped:

Now, following Johnson’s resignation, KFC has resurrected the meme to troll the Conservative Party.

The post has been liked over 100,000 times at the time of writing, with people loving the grumpy Johnson image.

The Tory Party leader was forced to step down this week after a flurry of resignations over the Chris Pincher scandal backed him into a corner.

Corbyn tweeted that Johnson is now the third PM to fall in six years “because there is no solution to the deep economic and environmental crisis we face.”

“Real change isn’t a new Tory PM but a new politics to redistribute wealth and power”, he added, which I’m sure you’ll agree, is a finger-lickin good response.
