Pogba and Diallo's gesture came days after Leicester City's Wesley Fofana and Hamza Choudhury held aloft a Palestine flag after beating Chelsea in the FA Cup final at Wembley.
Zahavi, an Israeli international, had also shared an edited image of the Leicester duo to his Instagram story, again expressing his thanks for the support.
It has since been reported that Fofana and Choudhury are unlikely to face disciplinary action for bringing the flag into their celebrations, despite some suggesting it may be viewed as a punishable political gesture by football's authorities.
